It’s been ten years in the making, but as of today, my entire Last Lux Trilogy is published. The Curse of the Midnight Phoenix is now available to download on Kindle and Kindle Unlimited, or you can order your paperback copy over on Amazon.
It hasn’t quite sunk in yet that I’ve reached the end of the road with most of the characters who populate the trilogy, but they have been with me for the best part of two decades, always waiting for me each time I came back to the page, and offering refuge during difficult times. It’s been an honour to tell their stories and introduce them to the world, and it’s a privilege to be able to discuss them with friends, family, and even complete strangers. Working on this final book has certainly been emotional, and waving goodbye to Skye and the gang hasn’t been easy, but I know they will live on beyond the page. And you, the reader, have helped to make that happen <3
I owe thanks to so many people who helped me reach this huge milestone in my life and writing career, but special mentions go to my amazing critique partners and fellow authors, Nick Burgoyne and Karlein Kwong, my super talented cover artist Joan Culum, and of course, my wonderful family and friends who have cheered me on along the way. Thank you for everything <3

Reviews help indie authors
If you enjoy my books, a rating and/or review on sites like Amazon, Goodreads and Storygraph go a long way in helping new readers find my books and grow my audience. As a self-published author, I do all my marketing independently, but your reviews and shares are the best way to get the word out. What’s more, I love hearing your thoughts, and I’m forever grateful to everyone who can lend a helping hand <3

Future projects
What’s next for the Last Lux books? While this is the final book in the trilogy, it’s not the end of the road for this universe. Once I take a much-needed break (at least a couple of months, that post-publishing burnout has me in its grip), I’m excited to start drafting a prequel romantasy for a certain couple you may recognise from the trilogy 😏 And after that, I have ideas for a wintery standalone set in medieval Britannia, with a long-ago Lux loosely inspired by the Finnish tale of the Firefox.
The Curse of the Midnight Phoenix - out now
We have forgotten their true names. They were gods once, and all was as it should be when they ruled life and death, light and darkness…
Ravaged by generations of endless wars, Britannia lies in ruins following the deadly battle between the Nox and the Lux. While the Resistance Leaders struggle to rebuild the country, their allies must grapple with grief, betrayal, and uncontrollable powers. Yet the true war lies beyond the mortal realm and the gods are choosing their champions. For an ancient enemy is set to reclaim what is rightfully hers. A threat woven from their darkest nightmares – a being who has waited a thousand years to break her curse…
The Last Lux Trilogy reaches its epic conclusion, where freedom demands sacrifice, revenge has its price, redemption must be earned, and long-buried secrets rise from the ashes of time.
Happy reading, and I can’t wait to hear your thoughts <3
